More penciled things. Really loving the Col-erase pencils. Still forming the brain to hand
super highway of learning to draw. -Z

Kurt and I have been busy working on our first graphic novel for Vertigo/DC Comics.
It’ll take a bit before we can share what we’ve been up to. Instead, I’d love to show you
our sketchbook pages. It’s amazing how fast things start to make sense if you just
draw every day. Most of these are 10.5″ x 14″, drawn in Col-erase, some in watercolour.
They’re mostly copies from photographs, other illustrators and monsters in my head.
Still learning anatomy, in some pages it’s quite obvious I have a while to go. -Z

Here are some of my sketches. They include drawings from photo ref, my head,
as well as some artist copies. I’m working to understand structure and gesture.
