I was locked away in a gorgeous manor in Woodstock, NY for 5 days. Before I left, I grabbed a ream of typing paper and a handful of buttery pencils. No TV, no internet, no distractions, just practicing anatomy. Here’s a a few of them. It’s taken me about 4 years to even begin understanding any of this stuff. Looking forward to the next few steps of this journey. -Z

Time for another Kurt Huggins solo project. An album cover for the übertalented Kim Boekbinder. She recorded a duet with the equally amazing Amanda Palmer and launched a kickstarter to fund the pressing of the 7″. Check it out and become a backer!

Kurt and I were invited to paint a Micro Vision to help raise money for the Society of Illustrators’
student scholarship fund. This piece will hang on the Society Walls, along with little works from
Tony Diterlizzi, John Cuneo, Jesper Ejsing, Tyler Jacobson, Chris Moeller, Dave Palumbo, George Pratt,
and Mark Summers. Wow, what an honor! Thanks, Irene! It was so much fun to do. Hope to show you
many more of these in the coming months. -Z
